Terms of Service

The short version
- Tralo is a personal health-tracking tool. It is not medical advice and not a medical device.
- You must be old enough to consent to data processing in your country (typically 13 or 16+).
- You own your data. We hold it for you.
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
- We do our best, but the service is provided "as is" with no guarantee of zero outages.
1. Acceptance
By creating a Tralo account or using the Tralo app or website, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use Tralo.
2. Not medical advice
Tralo is not a medical device. It is a personal health-tracking tool for informational and organizational purposes only. Nothing in the app or website should be interpreted as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions. Never delay seeking medical advice because of something you saw in Tralo.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in jurisdictions where that is the minimum). If you are under 18, you must have a parent's or guardian's permission. By using Tralo, you confirm you meet these requirements.
4. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
- You may not share your account with anyone.
- You agree to provide accurate information when you sign up.
- You may delete your account at any time from inside the app.
5. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
- Tralo offers monthly and yearly subscriptions, plus a 21-day free trial.
- Subscriptions are managed by Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store). They handle billing, refunds, and cancellations per their store policies.
- Cancel any time directly from the App Store or Play Store. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
- The "Founders' Offer" (first year free for the first 5,000 sign-ups) is honored at launch via a redemption code. After the free year, you may subscribe at standard rates. There is no auto-charge if you do nothing.
- HSA/FSA reimbursement may be available with a Letter of Medical Necessity from your provider.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Tralo to break any law
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Scrape, mass-download, or otherwise abuse the service
- Use Tralo to harass, harm, or impersonate others
- Upload malicious code or content that violates someone else's rights
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you log in Tralo. By using the service, you grant Tralo a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the service to you.
8. Our content
The Tralo app, website, name, logo, and all related materials are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Don't copy, modify, or redistribute them.
9. Service availability
We provide Tralo on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work hard to keep the service running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tralo and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$50, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Tralo harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.
12. Disputes
Disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the laws of the State of California, except where prohibited by law. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of accepting these Terms by emailing [email protected].
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here and announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
