Plain-English summary
- The Tralo website uses a small number of cookies — only what's needed to make it work.
- The Tralo app does not use cookies (mobile apps don't).
- We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral tracking.
- You can clear cookies any time in your browser settings.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. Some are needed to make a site work (like remembering your dark-mode preference). Others are used for analytics or advertising. We don't use the third kind.
The cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
tralo_theme | Remembers your dark / light / system theme choice | 1 year | Necessary |
tralo_admin_session | Keeps admins signed in to the admin dashboard | 14 days | Necessary (admins only) |
What we do not use
- No third-party advertising cookies
- No behavioral or cross-site tracking
- No social media tracking pixels
- No fingerprinting
Analytics
We use a privacy-respecting, server-side analytics approach that counts page views without setting cookies, without collecting IP addresses, and without identifying individual visitors. If we ever switch to cookie-based analytics, we'll update this page and ask for your consent first.
Your choices
- Clear cookies in your browser at any time. Your theme will reset to system default.
- Block all cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
- In private/incognito browsing, cookies are cleared automatically when you close the window.
